A multiple Emmy-award-winning author/composer of over 150 scripts, books, and songs for kids and adults, Louise began her career at the legendary National Lampoon magazine, where she was first editorial assistant and then copy editor, from 1972 to 1978. She has worked as Editorial Director and creative consultant at Jim Henson Productions, created and run a publishing and multimedia division at Nickelodeon, and worked as SVP, Creative Operations at Sirius Thinking, creator of Between the Lions and Lomax: The Hound of Music. She is also the co-creator and head writer of the Emmy-nominated Johnny and the Sprites for

Playhouse Disney, the librettist of a number of chamber and orchestral music pieces for children and adults composed by Bruce Adolphe, and the writer of “Journey to the Stars,” the critically acclaimed planetarium show now playing at the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the Museum of Natural History in New York City and around the world. Louisealso wrote the Rose Planetarium’s previous space show, “Cosmic Collisions.” She has recently finished a book celebrating the fortieth anniversary of Sesame Street, and is currently working on a language teaching project for kids that will launch on the PBS-Kids Go! website in spring 2011.
